Skylar had a rough start in life. As a baby, he was pulled from his nest in Mexico and smuggled into the United States in a wheel well. Terrible! Then he was sold for ? in a grocery store parking lot. Just a baby, he had a lot of health issues due to his capture and uncomfortable travel. His medical bills were so expensive that he was abandoned at the avian vet's office. The vet tech took him home and kept him for the next 15 years. Unfortunately, when she had to move for her job, Skylar couldn't come, so he's at Best Friends, hoping to meet someone like you. Skylar is sociable and will welcome you with a happy, "Well, hello!" He really likes people and is looking for a forever home.
